The Macopan (also known as Mc'opan)

Big donkey like creatures, with a very stout and strong body shape, shoulder hight is around 190 cm. Males are bigger than the females and have stripes on the body females only on the rear part. The females also have no thorns on their rear, but the whole back is covered with throns meanwhile the male ones have a nude part without thorns in the middle of the back. The neck and the rear part is covered with horn thorns (like extreme thick hair) the corners of the mouth are extremely flexible, so that they can eat with their sabre teeth without problems. They have horse like hooves on the hind legs, and Tapir like feet on the front legs. Males and also the females have sabre teeth. Overall they have a grey-ish brown fur color and a very short, velvet like fur, which is water- repellent.

The Macopan can only be found on the Macopanian Islands, they can be found on the other continents as well, but only in breeded forms (for riding and transporting) A Macopan is more like a dog than a horse if we compare it to animals on earth, the future owner of a Macopan needs to raise it from very young age to adult (approx. 2 years) to get the complete trust of the animal, and to be able to ride it. Only the male ones are used for riding because of the thron-anatomy on the back. (these can't be shaved off)
